Welcome

Welcome to a new venture for my creative spirit.
The purpose of this blog is to showcase sewing projects I am cultivating and for potential customers to choose what they are able to custom order.

Aprons
When I think of aprons, memories flood my mind of my mom wrapped securely in her old polka dot and flower standby.  She still uses that thread bare apron and knowing how much wear and flour and batter and love have been splattered across it only inspires me to make my own to share with others.  Whether the apron is vintage, whimsy or function inspired they are all made with a hope that while the goods might burn the memory they inspire will be sweet.

Burp Cloths
Gone are the days of plain, white, throw away rags used to clean up those sweet baby spills.  I love to use a mix of beautiful, chic fabrics in a variety of pattern, color and texture.  Why not be "Pretty in Puke" with your little bundle tucked over your shoulder.  A soft chenille picks up the mess while the opposite side boasts beauty.

Baby Blankets
Growing up my mom made each of my brothers and I blankets when we were small.  I still remember laying mine out to lay on the floor for a snack or tucking it under my chin when I wasn't feeling tip top or simply snuggling up with it at night.  I tried to replicate my blankes with vintage fabric patterns, chenille and flannel in hope that when you snuggle your little honey in close it radiates that comfortable feel.
